About Us

The Video Coach was formed in January 2003 to bring modern Sports Analysis Technology to the UK.

We saw the potential of using digital video to provide instant feedback not only to professional sportsmen and athletes, but also to business and education.

Our software allows users to identify traits and trends within performance, to help correct faults and also to provide positive messages to reinforce strengths.

We began working with Queen’s Park Rangers football club in August of 2003, and played a key role in the club’s promotion the following May.  Since then we’ve worked closely with other professional football clubs who have used our low-cost system to work on team tactics. Northampton Town became our second client club to achieve promotion in May 2006 - while Watford reached the Premiership through the play-offs and Cheltenham Town also went up to League One.

We’ve provided award winning Analysis software to schools for education and achieved recognition under the Government’s Curriculum Online scheme for approved IT resellers.

We’ve helped Golf professionals improve the quality of their teaching with our DartGolfer software – and introduced physiotherapists and podiatrists to the potential of using video analysis to improve both treatment and diagnosis.

In 2005 we created TeamViewer, a unique multi-camera system allowing a panoramic view of sports arenas to capture all the action.

In 2006 we've progressed again by bringing to the UK the Ascensio system, the world's most advanced football analysis software with both 2D and 3D images
