Why?  Traditional video footage
  • •Most coaches in English professional football have access to TV film of their matches
  • •TV production concentrates on close-up pictures to capture the passion and emotion and make the viewer feel closer to the action

How?  The Video Coach approach
  • •At The Video Coach we shoot our own, independent digital film of every match involving our client clubs

  • •We use a wide angle lens to capture the maximum amount of the action

  • Our trained Sports Science operators record the action on laptop computers using exclusive Dartfish Analysis software


  • •    Using a “tagging panel”, the operator logs the key events according to the individual requirements of the coach or team manager

  • •This information ranges from basic events such as goal attempts and corners to sophisticated study of possession regains, passing movements and tactical play

  • •Our Sports scientist analyses the data that records statistical performance

     

  • We feed back the key clips and use Dartfish drawing tools to help the coach make relevant points to his playing squad
