Our track record since we began working in professional football in 2003 includes now five clubs who have gained promotions during the time we have worked with them - QPR, Northampton Town, Cheltenham Town and Watford and Walsall as our latest to join the Video Coach promotion club Walsall manager Richard Money said: "The Video Coach service was absolutely invaluable for us and a vital part of the success we achieved. Using video is so much more powerful than simply telling players - I can talk about a subject all day but showing on film gets the message over in minutes. We used the service to improve individual players, to work on departments within the team, and to improve the whole team play. "In my first season we concentrated on the defensive side of the game and getting people in the right positions, and the wide angle film helped me show not only the back four but the midfield and forwards what they needed to be doing at every time in the game." Colchester's Jamie Cureton finished top scorer in The Championship. He said: "The Wide Angle work we did with the Video Coach made a huge difference to me. I had always run into good positions instinctively, but picking up the film together with the coaches helped me learn why and when the runs worked and enabled me to start making those runs by design as well as by instinct. I'm sure that meant I got many more chances in the season and so could put more of them away." Leyton Orient survived in their first season in League One after winning promotion, and their manager Martin Ling said: "If you look at our results you can see the stage at which I began to get the best from The Video Coach service. We started the season poorly, but once I was using the Video Coach wide angle film to help the players understand their defensive positions it made a huge difference."
And Oxford's experienced Jim Smith said:
"The video analysis that The Video Coach provided soon became an essential
part of the work we did with our players throughout the season." |
