New Walsall boss Richard Money has explained why he felt The Video Coach was one of his first priorities after taking charge at The Bescot Stadium. Walsall have signed a two-year contract to use The Video Coach technology, and are aiming not just to be back in League One but to reach the Championship by the end of it. Ambitious Money (left), who has come back to England after successful coaching and management jobs in Sweden and Australia, said: "I see the Video Coach as an essential part of the modern coach's armoury. |

"Every game will be videoed and then we will be able to take out the bits that we need to give to the players both individually and as a team. "It will give us a clearer picture of what is required and I know that this system has been used to good effect at both Watford and Northampton Town this season, whilst this kind of thing is also very popular abroad. "I am trying to bring in everything that is modern and new within the coaching world. It is all essential to making us better, but at the same time I am aware that we have to work within a budget. "The Chairman has been very understanding and supportive; coaching has moved on so much in the last five years or so and he realises that you have to move with the times. I am fortunate to have been heavily involved in that progress and it gives me great pleasure to bring something that is very modern and interesting to Walsall Football Club."
